Private Albert Derosa was an Italian soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, in Naples, the son of Louis Derosa, and educated in London, where he enlisted in March 1918.[1]
Derosa died on 30 August 1918, during the Hundred Days Offensive, while serving with the 6th Battalion, The Northumberland Fusiliers on the Western Front. He had, in 1916, married Adelaide Elizabeth Wischhusen, of London, with whom he had two children, Albert Charles and Beatrice Rosa.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Vis-en-Artois Memorial.
