Lance Corporal Albert Frederick Max Thieman (or Thiemann) was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1894, in Finchampstead, Berkshire, the son of German-born Charles Max and Mary Elizabeth Thiemann (née Willett), of Dulwich.

Thiemann died on 25 September 1914, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The King's Royal Rifle Corps. He had landed in France with his battalion on 13 August.[1]

He is buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille.
