Rifleman Alfred William Bergstrom was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.

He was born in 1919, in Poplar, the son of Swedish-born John August, a ship's rigger, and Mary Ann Bergstrom (née Berry), of Stepney. In 1938, Alfred Bergstrom married Maud A Maskell, of Peterborough.

Bergstrom died on 18 July 1944, during the Italian Campaign, while serving with the 7th (London Rifle Brigade), The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort's Own).

He is buried in Arezzo War Cemetery.

Alfred Was my Great Uncle Alf.
