Lance Corporal Anthony Axisa was a Maltese soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.
He was born in Malta, the son of Spiro and Annetta Axisa (née Seminiana).
Aged 22, Axisa died on 29 March 1942, during the Japanese invasion of Burma, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment).
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Rangoon Memorial.
