Second Lieutenant Arthur Philip Abecasis was an English officer of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1889, in Hendon, the son of American-born Victor Emile, a professional singer originally of New York, and Amelia Francis Lucas Abecasis (née Belinfante), of London.
Abecasis died on 9 April 1917, in the First Battle of the Scarpe, while serving with the 6th (Service) Battalion, The Prince Albert's (Somerset Light Infantry) on the Western Front.
He is buried in Tigris Lane Cemetery, Wancourt.
