Private Arthur Albert Kuch was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1896, in Poplar, the son of German pork butcher John Frederick and Emily Kuch (née Mainard), of Tilmanstone, Kent. At the time of the 1911 census, Kuch was living with his widowed mother at 7 Balaam Street, Plaistow.
Kuch died on 16 September 1916, during the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 1/23rd (County of London) Battalion, The London Regiment on the Western Front.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
