Private Benjamin Ginsburg was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1888, in Kensington, the son of Russian-born glazier Samuel and Sarah Ginsburg. He followed his father into the glazing business.
Ginsburg died on 30 May 1918, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1/5th (City of London) Battalion (London Rifle Brigade), The London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers). His.brother, David, had died in December 1914 while with the regiment's 13th Battalion.
Ginsburg, who was married to Rebecca H Levy, is buried in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension.
