Rifleman Carl Victor Jensen was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1894, in Marylebone, the son of Danish Soren, a tailor coatmaker, and Maude Mary Jensen (née Payne), of London.
Aged 21, Jensen died on 30 July 1915, during the Battle (or "Action") of Hooge, in the Ypres area, while serving with the 8th (Serivce) Battalion, The King's Royal Rifle Corps.
Jensen, who married Ivy Pink, has no known grave and is commemorated by the Menin Gate Memorial.
