Serjeant Carl Henry James Kahrman was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born on 15 January 1890, in Wandsworth, the son of German-born parents Johann Heinrich Carl, a sugar boiler by profession, and Franceska Sophia Kahrman (née Gutjahr), both of Hannover. Before the war, the younger Kahrman gained employment with London and North Western Railway.[1] He married, in 1911, to Ruth Wheeler.

Kahrman died on 21 August 1917, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 3rd (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers), The London Regiment.

He is buried in Harlebeke New British Cemetery.
