Rifleman Charles Stuart Barkman was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1893, in Edmonton, the son of Nathan, a clerk to a loan office, and Rose Barkman (née Aarons), of London and Liverpool, respectively. At the time of the 1911 Census, Barkman was working as an assistant to a boot dealer while living with his family at 394 Brixton Road.

Barkman died on 15 June 1918, of wounds on the Western Front, while serving with the 21st (County of London) Battalion (First Surrey Rifles), The London Regiment.

He is buried in Pernois British Cemetery, Halloy-les-Pernois.
