Private Charles Julius was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1897, in Whitechapel, the son of Russian-born parents Samuel, a hairdresser by profession, and Annie Julius. At the time of the 1911 census, the Julius family were residing at 40 Cable Street.
Julius died on 23 July 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 13th (Service) Battalion (3rd South Down), The Royal Sussex Regiment.
He is buried in Essex Farm Cemetery.
