Private Charles Harry Jacob Petzing was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1898, in Edmonton, the son of William Charles, a baker of Fulham, and German-born Helene Petzing (née Bayer). At the time of the 1911 census, Petzing was living with his family at 30 Turton Road, Wembley.

Petzing died on 21 March 1918, on the opening day of Germany's Spring Offensive on the Western Front, while serving with the 8th (Service) Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment).

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Pozieres Memorial.
