Assistant Steward Charles Saviour Anthony Polidano was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.
He was born the son of Francis and Beniamina Gauci Polidano, of Zurrieq.
Polidano died on 11 May 1942, when German aircraft sunk the L-class destroyer HMS Lively off Tobruk, Libya, with the loss of 77 crew.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by Plymouth Naval Memorial.
