Private Charles ("Charlie") Smolenski was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1899, in Liverpool, the son of Polish parents Henry, a tailor's cutter, and Ada Smolenski (née Liebschute). At the time of the 1911 census, Smolenski was living with his family at 23 Great Orford Street.

Smolenski died on 5 September 1918, during the Allied Hundred Days Offensive, while serving with the 11th (Service) Battalion (Accrington), The East Lancashire Regiment on the Western Front.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Ploegsteert Memorial.
