Lance Corporal Charles ('Charlie') Kortegas was a Welsh soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1894, in Carnarvon, the son of German-born parents Adolph, a fellmonger, and Dora Kortegas. At the time of the 1911 census, Kortegas was assisting in his father's business while living with his family at 350 Carnarvon Road, Bangor.

Kortegas died on 30 July 1918, during the Allied Hundred Days Offensive on the Western Front, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Welsh Regiment.

He is buried in Pernes British Cemetery.
