Lance Corporal Claude Victor Golle was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1895, in Greenwich, the son of German-born Carl Otto, a licenced victualler, and Jessie Eliza Golle (née Sinclair). At the time of the 1911 Census, the Golle family were residing at 33 White Bear, Tabard Street, Southwark.
Golle died on 28 December 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1/28th (County of London) Battalion (Artist's Rifles), The London Regiment.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
