Corporal Daniel Lucchesi was a Scottish soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.

He was born in Ayr, the son of Italian-born parents Desiderio, an ice cream vendor by profession, and Paolina Lucchesi.

Aged 24, Lucchesi died on 16 May 1944, during the Battle of Anzio, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) in the Italian Campaign..

He is buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio.
