Private David Miranda was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1898, in Whitechapel, the son of Abraham, a "rough stuff" cutter in the boot trade, and Annie Miranda (née Schaverien), both of the Whitechapel area. At the time of the 1911 census, Miranda was living with his family at 2 Buckle Street Buildings, Commercial Road.

Miranda died on 30 October 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving with the 1st Battalion, The East Surrey Regiment on the Western Front.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Tyne Cot Memorial.
