Lance Corporal' Edoardo' Giovanni ("Edward") Barbero was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1891, in Greenwich, the son of Italian umbrella maker Eligio and Emily Jane Barbero (née Beazley), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, Barbero was working as a butcher while living with his family at 26 Pullens Buildings, Penton Place.

Barbero died on 7 June 1917, during the Battle of Messines, while serving on the Western Front with the 1/24th (County of London) Battalion (The Queen's), The London Regiment.

He is buried in Bedford House Cemetery.
