Ordinary Seaman Edward Anders Eriksen was a Welsh sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.
He was born in 1914, in Llanelly, the son of Norwegian-born Erik Haakon, a mason at the time of the 1911 Census, and Sarah Annie Eriksen (née Griffiths).
Aged 28, Eriksen died on 5 April 1942, when Japanese bombers sunk the heavy cruiser HMS Dorsetshire in the Indian Ocean, with the loss of 234 crew. He had married, in 1939, to Doris Williams.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
