Private Ely (Ichiel) Vogel was a British-Romanian soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Romania, the son of Noah and Sarah Vogel, who would settle in England by 1902. At the time of the 1911 Census, the Vogel family, the head of whom was working as a fent salesman, were residing at 106 Elizabeth Street, Cheetham.

Aged 20, Vogel died on 9 July 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the Machine Gun Corps, attached from the 2nd Battalion, The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.

He is buried in Coxyde British Cemetery, Belgium.
