Rifleman Emmanuel Borg was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in Italy, the son of Vincenzo and Rosa Borg, of Luca, Malta. At the time of his enlistment, Borg declared his residence as being Dartford, England.
Aged 24, Borg died on 12 September 1918, during the Allies' Hundred Days Campaign on the Western Front, while serving with the 12th (County of London) Battalion (The Rangers), The London Regiment.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Vis-en-Artois Memorial.
