Sergeant Emmanuel (or Emanuel) Antonio Juelis Ramos was a Welsh soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.
He was born in 1906, in Newport, Monmouthshire, the son of Jules (Julio), a Portuguese-born ship's carpenter, and Catherine Ramos (née Lediott).
Aged 37, Ramos died on 1 December 1941, during the North African Campaign, while serving with 8 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery.
Ramos, who was married to Ada Gwendolene Hoggins, has no known grave and is commemorated by the Alamein Memorial.
