Rifleman Eugene (Eugenio) Rissone was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born c. 1897, in Dublin, Ireland, the son of Italian-born Eugenio, a cook, and Philomena Rissone (née Flynn), of Dublin. At the time of the 1911 census, Rissone was resident with his family in England, at 30 Upper Charlton Street, London.
Rissone died on 28 March 1918, during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign against the Ottoman Empire, while serving with the 2/21st (County of London) Battalion (First Surrey Rifles), The London Regiment.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Jerusalem Memorial.
