Stanley Krohn

Private Stanley David Krohn was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1894, in Pancras, the son of Polish-born Hermann, a tailor, and Lilian Krohn (née Goudsmit), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, Krohn had followed into his father's trade and was living with his family at 160 Alexandra Road, Hampstead.

Krohn died on 19 April 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Lincolnshire Regiment.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
