Private Frank Charles Schaffrath was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1897, in Canning Town, Essex, the son of German-born dock labourer William and Eliza Schaffrath (née Colley), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Schaffrath was boarding with the Latchford family at 6 Mallards Cottages, Horn Lane.

Schaffrath died in 1 July 1916, on the opening day of the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 1/12th (County of London) Battalion (The Rangers), The London Regiment on the Western Front.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
