Private Frederick (or Frederic) Willie Opperman was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1884, in Lambeth, London, the son of German-born William John F and Frances Elizabeth Opperman (née Vicary), of Littlehampton. At the time of the 1911 census, Opperman was working as a bank clerk, while his widowed mother kept a boarding house at 1 Park Road, New Cross.

Opperman died on 26 May 1915, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1/24th (County of London) Battalion (The Queen's), The London Regiment. He had arrived in France on 16 March.[1]

He is buried in Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez.
