Able Seaman Frederick Charles Hedges Volze was an English sailor of the Royal Navy who dfied during the First World War.

He was born on 9 September 1894,[1] in Croydon, Surrey, the son of German-born Johann Baptist and Jane Ellen Volze (née Quinlan), of Warwickshire.

Volze, who entered the navy in 1910, died on 22 November 1916, when submarine HMS E30 was lost in the North Sea, having possibly struck a mine.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Chatham Naval Memorial.
