Private Fredrich August Dietert, who served under the name Frederick Dicker, was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1895, in Pancras, the son of German tailor Hermann August and Emma Dietert (née Jacobs), of London. At the time of the 1911 census, Dieter gave his occupation as apprentice figure artist.
Dietert died on 21 June 1916, on the Western Front, while serving with the 12th (County of London) Battalion (The Rangers), The London Regiment, attached from the 2/2nd Battalion.
He is buried in Hebuterne Military Cemetery.
