Second Lieutenant (Acting Major) Gaston Pierre Peter Kurten was an English officer of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1889, in London, the son of German-born accountant Johann (Jean) Robert Kurten. His father remarried, in 1894, to French-born Louise Dessal. Gaston's brother, Jean Antoine, served in the Army Service Corps in the war, being awarded the Military Cross.

Kurten died on 24 April 1918, during Germany's Spring Offensive on the Western Front, while serving with the 291st Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. He had been mentioned in despatches.

He is buried in Camon Communal Cemetery.
