Corporal George William Weirich was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in Strasburg, Alsace, in Germany (present-day France), the son of Peter, a baker, and Louisa Weirich. At the of the 1911 census, the younger Weirich was working as a printer while living with his family at 69 Davisville Road, Shepherd's Bush, London.
Aged 24, Weirich died on 5 April 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with "Z" 47th Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery.
He is buried in Bedford House Cemetery, Belgium.
