Private Gilbert Eugene Kosmann was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born c. 1892, in Westminster, the son of French-born art dealer Eugene and Minnie Kosmann, of London. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Kosmann had followed into his father's profession and was living with his family at 3 Maidstone House, Mercer Street.

Kosmann died on 25 February 1915, on the Western Front, while serving with "G" Company, 2nd (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers), The London Regiment. He had arrived in France in early January.

He is buried in Chapelle-d'Armentieres Old Military Cemetery.
