Officer's Cook 1st Class Giovanni Battista Busuttil was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.

He was born on 17 November 1872, in Civita Vecchia,[1] the son of Agostino Eleonora Busuttil (née Zahra), and entered the navy in 1891.[1]

Aged 44, Busuttil died on 21 March 1917, of an illness, while assigned to HMS Hannibal, a former battleship which had been converted into a depot at Alexandria, Egypt.

Busuttil, who married Maria, is buried in Hadra War Memorial Cemetery, Alexandria.
