Private Giovanni Donati was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Italy, the son of Francisco and Elisabetta Donati, and later the husband of Guiseppina, with whom he lived in Glasgow, Scotland.

Aged 35, Donati died on 18 September 1918, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving as a private in the 4th Battalion, The Royal Scots Fusiliers.

Donati is buried in Sunken Road Cemetery, Boisleux-St. Marc
