Private Harold David Aarons was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1898, in St. Savior, the son of furniture dealer Lewis and Katie Aarons, both of London. At the time of the 1911 Census, the Aarons family were residing at 284 Essex Road.
Aged 18, Aarons died on 10 October 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving on the Western Front with the 10th (Service) Battalion, Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own (Yorkshire Regiment).
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Tyne Cot Memorial.
