Private Harris Cassonman was a soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born c. 1885, in the Russian Empire, the son of Morris and Rose Kesselman (who changed their name in the early 1900's to Cassonman for a short period to perhaps sound less Jewish). At the time of the 1911 Census, Cassonman was working as a cap maker while living with his wife, Fanny Vinacour, of Russia, and two children at 37 College Buildings, Wentworth.

Cassonman died on 21 April 1915, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1st Battalion, The Dorsetshire Regiment.

He is buried in Woods Cemetery, Belgium.
