Rifleman Harry Aronow was a Scottish soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born c. 1898, in Glasgow, the son of Russian parents Benjamin and Leah Aronow, makers of cigarettes and cigarette cases. At the time of the 1911 census, the Aronow family were residing at 187 Langdale Mansions, Langdale Street, London.
Aronow died on 7 June 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 1/8th (City of London) Battalion (Post Office Rifles), The London Regiment.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Menin Gate Memorial.
