Stoker 1st Class Heinrich Philip ("Harry") Kuhn, who served as Harry Coon, was a sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.
He was born on 16 November 1886, in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Carl Albert and Louise Kuhn, who emigrated to England before the 1891 Census. On joining the Royal Navy in 1907, Kuhn claimed his place of birth to be Old Ford, in London.
Kuhn died on 4 July 1917 when the Acacia-class sloop HMS Aster was mined off Malta, in the Mediterranean, with the loss of 10 crew. She had been providing escort to the steamer Abbasieh in conjunction with fellow sloop Azalea.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Chatham Naval Memorial.
