Private Henry Julius Ritter was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1883, at Stepney, the son of German-born baker August and Elizabeth Ritter (née Reinhardt), of London. The younger Ritter married, in 1905, to Emma Ethel Maud Shelford, of Tidal Basis. At the time of the 1911 census, Ritter was working as a washouse man while living with his family at 29 Ford Parks Road.

Ritter died on 15 May 1917, during the Arras Offensive, while serving with the 2/4th (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers), The London Regiment on the Western Front.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Arras Memorial.
