Private Herman (Aaron) Meisel was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1897, in Mile End, the son of Polish-born parents Davis, a tailor machinist, and Sarah Meisel. At the time of the 1911 Census, the Meisel family were residing at 15 Ernest Street.
Meisel died on 6 July 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 4th Battalion, The Northumberland Fusiliers.
He is buried in Achiet-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension.
