Private Joseph ("Joe") Nathan was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1890, in Whitechapel, the son of tailor Isidore and Sarah Nathan (née Solomons), of London and Poland, respectively. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Nathan had followed into his father's trade and was living with his family at 57 Jane Street, Commercial Road.

Nathan died on 1 October 1918, during the Allied Hundred Days Offensive, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.

He is buried in Anneux British Cemetery.
