Private John George Johansen was a Scottish soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born c. 1896, in Inverness, the son of Swedish-born railway labourer Emmanuel and Catherine Johansen, local to the area.
Johansen died on 16 October 1916, during the Somme Offensive, while serving with the 5th Battalion, The Cameron Highlanders on the Western Front.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Thiepval Memorial.
