Private John Sydney Krailsheimer was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1895, in Hampstead, the son of German-born parents Julius, a stockbroker, and Johanna Krailsheimer. At the time of the 1911 Census, the family were residing at Chislett House, Chislett Road.
Krailsheimer died on 20 July 1916, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with "A" Company, 10th (Service) Battalion, The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) on the Western Front. He had formerly belonged to the Norfolk Regiment.
He is buried in St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen.
