Officer's Steward 3rd Class John Reitano was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.
He was born on 24 June 1889, in Valletta, the son of Raimondo and Margerite Reitano.
Reitano died on 30 December 1915, when the Duke of Edinburgh-class armoured cruiser HMS Natal exploded while anchored in the Cromarty Firth, with the loss of between 390 and 421.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
