Petty Officer Steward Joseph Agius was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.
He was born the son of Michael and Giovanna Agius, of Senglea, and was husband to Gioacchina.
Aged 31, Agius died on board the J class destroyer HMS Juno when Italian aircraft bombed the warship on 21 May 1941, off the island of Crete.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
