Private Joseph Ginsberg was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1891, in Leeds, the son of Polish-born parents Isaac, a shoemaker, and Rachel Ginsberg. At the time of the 1911 census, Ginsberg was working as a tailor's clerk while living with his family at Northfield Villas, Camp Road.

Ginsberg died on 20 October 1918, during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign against the Ottoman Empire, while serving with the 1st Battalion, The Connaught Rangers.

He is buried in Haifa War Cemetery, Israel.
