Rifleman Joseph (Joe) Kopinsky was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1895, in Whitechapel, the son of Polish-born parents Barnett, a tobacconist by profession, and Annie Kopinsky. At the time of the 1911 census, Kopinsky was working as a tailor's apprentice while living with his family at 125 Redsmans Road.
Kopinsky died on 27 December 1916, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 8th (Service) Battalion, The Prince Consort's Own (Rifle Brigade).
He is buried in Avesnes-le-Comte Communal Cemetery Extension.
