Leading Steward Joseph Micallef was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.

He was born in Malta, the son of Domenico and Stella Micallef.

Micallef died on 22 May 1941, when the light cruiser HMS Gloucester was sunk during the Battle of Crete, with the loss of 722 men.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
