Private Luis Harold ('Louis') Perez was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1897, in Chorlton, the son of Spanish-born Mario Atanasio, a commercial traveller, and Sarah Perez (née Loudon), of Ireland. After his mother died, Perez's remarried in 1906, to Kate Johnson. Perez attempted to enlist in September 1914, in the King's Own Scottish Borderers, but was discharged. He had claimed to be 19 years old.[1]

Perez died on 8 September 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving on the Western Front with the 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Tyne Cot Memorial.
