Private Mario Ongeri was a British soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.
He was born c. 1916, in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, the son of Giovanni and Leopolda Ongeri (née Brioschi), who later settled in Barrow-in-Furness.
Ongeri died on 6 April 1943, during the Tunisia Campaign, while serving with the 6th Battalion, The Green Howards (Yorkshire Regiment).
He is buried in Sfax War Cemetery.
